Poly-Vagal Informed Somatic Coaching
Access-Centered Personal Training
Earth-Based Ritual, Divination, and Healing
Raja Yoga Therapy
I have practiced and studied Meditation, Personal-Training, Dance, Physical Therapy, Yoga, Pilates, Divination, and Earth-Based Spirituality for the last 20 years and Polyvagal-informed Somatics for 6—my toolbox is vast and my specialties wide. Although my unique skill-set is offering “BodyMindSoul” support for those of us with chronic pain, chronic fatigue, chronic illness, complex trauma, comorbidities, and disabilities, I work with both disabled and non-disabled individuals. I utilize the foundations of Alignment, Core Stability, Breath-Work, Strength-Training, Flexibility and Mobility (safe for hypermobile joints), Raja Yoga, Meditation, Somatics, Parts Work (simlar to IFS), Attachment Theory, Craniosacral Therapy, Feldenkreis, and Earth-Based Magic to holistically strengthen, manifest resiliency, and find balance. People who have worked with me have been able to reduce inflammation, heal trauma, regulate their nervous system, ground, repair ruptured energetic boundaries, move lymph, get more energy, and alleviate chronic pain and illness.
I have extensive knowledge working with Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD and Complex-PTSD, OCD, Dissociative Identity Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Gastrointestinal Disorders, Fibromyalgia, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Chronic Fatigue, Arthritis, Lyme Disease, Asthma, Lupus, Crohn’s Disease, Post-Surgical Pain, Shock and Developmental Trauma, Addiction, Skeletal/Muscular/Nerve Pain, Insomnia, Pelvic Pain, Migraines, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Repetitive Stress Injury, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, and Chronic Stress Management. While I am also knowledgeable in in nutrition science and plant medicine, I am not legally allowed to give this advice in most states.
I have official training as a Trauma-Informed Raja Yoga Teacher, having received my RYT200 in 2016 with the Niroga Institute in Oakland, CA and I am currently studying with the National Academy of Sports and Medicine to become a Certified Personal Trainer (mostly for the title as I already know the material). Because of my disabilities and illnesses, and because most training and education systems are not accessible for people like me (especially in the health, wellness, and movement world); I have had to cobble together my own studies. Using old-school methods such as apprenticeships and studying with elders, much of my knowledge comes from my own healing journey that began over 20 years ago. This process reached a pinnacle when I experienced my own Shamanic Initiation earlier this year, which heightened my psychic capacities and helped me “download” ways that I can support the healing journeys of others. Some of the most gifted healers are those of us who have lived with the challenges we are working with, otherwise known as the archetype of the “Wounded Healer”.
I began my practice by offering what I needed: a nurturing, trauma-informed, gentle, access-centered, and compassionate container for healing. My compassionate approach is what most of my clients have also needed, especially those of us navigating the complex suffering of CPTSD, chronic fatigue, and pain. Whether you are seeking to stabilize your body, mind, or both (bodymind), I will support you in restoring your Lifeforce and returning to your Highest Self. I invite you to look at the testimonials to get a better idea of how I might work with you.
If you are interested in booking a session, please use our contact page to email me to discuss fees and scheduling. I currently do not offer sliding scale private sessions–ALL of my classes and workshops are sliding scale with scholarships and all of my classes are free for Black and Indigenous folks, if wanted.
